Judy A. Weinberg

March 6, 1941 — January 20, 2008

Judy A. Zain Weinberg
Brownsville, Texas:
Judy Zain Weinberg died Sunday, January 20th after a lengthy illness.  She was born March 6, 1941 in Alva Oklahoma to Elias and Martha Zain.
Judy graduated from Brownsville High School in 1959, but she continued her education throughout her life.  Throughout the years Judy worked in sales-related jobs and excelled in all. She was involved in real estate sales in Brownsville before joining her husband, Max, in the wholesale seafood business where she truly exhibited her intelligence, abilities and talents.
She never met a stranger and if you crossed paths, you never forgot her.  She loved people unconditionally without reservation and regard to stature.  For those that knew Judy, she was fun, funny, loving, generous, giving, loyal, and a true friend.
Judy was preceded in death by her parents, Elias and Martha Zain, and her husband, Max Weinberg.
She is survived by her brother, Rene (Nelda) Zain of Brownsville; sister, Jeanette (Howard) Pitts of Harlingen; niece, Erika (Keith) McKay of Austin; nephew, E. Rene Zain of Austin; niece, Denise Zain of Brownsville; and by her uncle, George Ayach of Matamoros.  She is also survived by her loving friends and caretakers, Consuelo Campos Casares, David Rodriguez, Claudia Villegas, and Maria Gonzalez.  Their loving care during her illness was a tribute to Judy’s love and affection for them.
