Judith Dianne Tanner

Judith Dianne Tanner, 78, peacefully passed from this life August 20, 2022 at the Aurora House in Weslaco, Texas. She was born September 21, 1943 in Pascagoula, Mississippi.

Dianne held a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Elementary Education. She was an elementary teacher with St. Tammany Parish Public Schools (Louisiana) until her retirement. In her leisure time, she enjoyed crafting, coloring, travelling, and collecting dolls. She was member of Treasure Hills Presbyterian Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jewitt and Patricia Pugh.

Left to treasure Dianne’s memory is her husband, Don Becker; her children, Kim (Mark) Christiansen, Kurt Becker, and Kristin Becker; a grandchild, Nathan Becker; sister-in-law, Janice Becker; cousins, Jerry “Red” and Florine “Flo” Melton; as well as many other friends.

Dianne’s family wishes to thank the caring physicians of Valley Baptist Family Practice, especially Dr. Sumith Perakathu, M.D., Dr. Joshua Fleming, D.O.,  and Dr. Nina Torkelson, M.D. for all they have done for Dianne and their family.

Memorial visitation will take place Friday, August 26, 2022 from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. at Buck Ashcraft San Benito Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life service will follow at 10:00 a.m. (Click the link below to view a livestream of the Celebration of Life service.)
