Juanita G. Soto

Juanita G. Soto peacefully passed away in Houston, Texas, on March 31, 2025, at the age of 78. She was born on July 6, 1946, in Matamoros, Tamaulipas, Mexico.

Juanita was preceded in death by her husband, Leopoldo Soto; her parents, Manuel Garza and Matiana Chapa; her sisters, Margarita Casas and Berta Martinez; and her brothers, Amador, Manuel, and Guadalupe Garza.

She is survived by her children, Beatris Soto, Leopoldo Soto Jr., Rigoberto Soto, and Elizabeth Soto, twenty grandchildren, and twenty-three great-grandchildren.

The family will welcome relatives and friends on Wednesday, April 9, 2025, from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. A prayer service will commence that evening at 7:00 p.m. A funeral service is scheduled for Thursday, April 10, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Following the service, Juanita will be laid to rest at Mont Meta Memorial Park.

Arturo Martinez, Roberto Martinez, Anthony Solano, Cristian Cano, Leopoldo Berlanga, and Montana Berlanga are honored to serve as pallbearers.
