Our beloved mother, Juanita Corona went to be with the Lord on Sunday August 7, 2016. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and loyal friend to all. Through example, she instilled a strong work ethic and devotion to family that will be her lasting legacy. She chose to live life fully, happily and in a strong Christian faith.
She was preceded in death by her spouse Enrique Corona who passed away 6 years to the day of her passing. Also preceding her in death were her parents Demetrio and Elena Rodriguez; sisters Irene De Leon and Maria Garza; brothers Abraham, Luciano and Abel Rodriguez; son-in-law Alvaro Trevino, daughter-in-law Yvonne Corona, and great-granddaughter Savannah Elise Guillen
She is survived by her children, Enrique Corona (Linda), Maria Elena Trevino (+Alvaro), Graciela Guillen (Abel), Rosalinda Salinas (Rick), Arnoldo Corona (Tina) and David Corona (+Yvonne); sister Lupita Torres. Also surviving are 20 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers are her grandsons: Abel Dax Guillen, Bobby Trevino, John David Corona, Ricky Salinas, Marco Salinas, Enrique Eduardo Corona. Honorary pallbearer will be Christopher Guillen.
Visitation will be held Monday, the 8th of August 2016, beginning at 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a Rosary to begin at 7:00 p.m. Monday within the San Benito Funeral Home Chapel, 1400 West Highway 77, San Benito, Texas 78586.
Funeral Service will be held Tuesday , the 9th of August 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Theresa Catholic Church. Entombment will follow at Mont Meta Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory can be made to St. Theresa Catholic Church.
