Juanita A. (Arguelles) Ramirez

Juanita A. Ramirez, of San Benito, Texas, went Home to be with her Lord on May 19, 2019.  Born in San Benito on December 25, 1928, Juanita was the daughter of the late Albino and Dionicia Gaytan Arguelles.

Her husband, Antonio Ramirez, Sr., son, Juan Guadalupe Ramirez, sister, Consuelo Hernandez, brother, Alvino Arguelles, her parents, and numerous other family members preceded Juanita in death.

Left to treasure her memory are her sons, Antonio Ramirez, Jr., Jose Luis (Felipa) Ramirez, Domingo (Allison) Ramirez, Roberto Ramirez, Mario (Lupita Franco) Ramirez, brother, Camilo Arguelles, numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.

Juanita was of the Christian faith and a member of Iglesia Cristo La Roca.

The Ramirez family is grateful to the staff of Harlingen Medical Center ER, HMC Second Floor ICU, and the HMC Fourth Floor nurses and staff for their professional care.  Very special thanks to The Sportsman for allowing her son, Mario Ramirez, the time to care for Juanita, and to Zeke Padilla and the caring staff of San Benito Funeral Home.

There will be visitation on Wednesday, May 22, 2019 from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM at San Benito Funeral Home.  Juanita’s family invites their friends and relatives to a Celebration of Life chapel service at 7 o’clock on Wednesday evening.
