San Benito, TX –Juan S. Rivera, was called to be with our lord and savior on Sunday, the 11th of December 2016. Born on the 20th of July 1948 in San Benito,Texas to his parents Pedro Z. Rivera and Magdalena Sanchez Rivera.
He is preceded in death by his late wife Frances H. Rivera whom passed away on Friday, the 9th of December 2016 at the age of 71.
Survivors include his loving daughters Karen Woodrum, and Laura (Pedro) Rodriguez. He also leaves his 6 grandsons and 1 granddaughter.
Visitation will be held today Wednesday, the 14th of December 2016, beginning at 2:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a Holy Rosary to begin at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday within the San Benito Funeral Home Chapel, 1400 West Highway 77, San Benito, Texas 78586.
Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, the 15th of December 2016, at 12:00 p.m. at St. Theresa Catholic Church. Interment will follow to Mont Meta Memorial Park.
