Juan Rodriguez

July 9, 1938 — February 21, 2013

San Benito, TX- Juan Rodriguez, 74, entered into eternal rest Thursday, February 21, 2013 at Valley Baptist Medical Center in Harlingen.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Emilia Rodriguez; his son, Raphael Rodriguez; his parents, Francisco and Eulogia Rodriguez; and his sister-in-law, Anjelita Romero.

Juan is survived by his loving children, Velma (Misael) Garcia, Melva Rodriguez, Juan David Rodriguez, Anjelica (Manuel III) Sanchez, Jaime (Tammy) Rodriguez, and Francisco (Laura) Rodriguez; his daughter-in-law, Maribel Rodriguez; his 15 grandchildren, Marc, Emily, Jessica, Ove Michael, Manuel IV, Christopher, Eric, Seth, Victoria, Elizabeth, Anika, Mathew, Mariah, Andrew, and Michael; his sisters, Elodia Rodriguez, Maria Nemoto, and Katerina Rodarte; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Visitation will be held on Monday, February 25, 2013 from 10:00 A.M. to 9:00 P.M. with the Holy Rosary to be prayed at 7:00 P.M. at San Benito Funeral Home.

The funeral precession will depart San Benito Funeral Home on Tuesday, February 26, 2013  at 12:30 P.M. for a 1:00 P.M. Funeral Mass at St. Theresa Catholic Church with Father Samuel Arizpe officiating.  Interment will follow to Mont Meta Memorial Park.

Pallbearers will be Juan David Rodriguez, Jaime Rodriguez, Francisco Rodriguez, Ove Michael Garcia, Eric Garcia, and Marc Morales.
