Juan H. Moreno, 83, of Lozano, TX Juan, or Johnny, as many of his friends called him, was born on November 5, 1941. He was married to his beloved wife, Aurora, for 47 years, who he affectionally called “Morena.” He had six children, Victor (Beatriz), Juan Jr. (Becky), Noe (Miriam), Beatriz (Dylan), Rene, and Aurora (Abraham), his sister, Carmen Chapa (Servando), five grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
Always wearing his guayabera, he enjoyed taking his family fishing, casting his “atarraya”, grilling, and watching football, especially the Dallas Cowboys.
Above all, Juan lived a life dedicated to his God Jehovah, with a deep trust in God’s promises, and one devoted to helping others. He was baptized in 1977 in a convention of Jehovah’s Witnesses and served God faithfully until the end of his life. He was an ardent student of the Bible and shared the good news he had learned with others.
