Juan Medina Blanco, 57, passed away Monday, December 26, 2016 at his residence after his battle with cancer.
Juan was born June 24, 1959 in Mexico to Guadalupe and Alvara Medina Blanco. He was employed with United States Postal Service in San Benito and then started Juan Blanco’s Landscaping Company in 1996. Juan was of the Pentecostal faith.
He is survived by his wife; his mother Alvara Medina Blanco; children Juan (Wendy) Blanco Jr. of San Benito, Ida Blanco (Daniel Romero) of San Benito, Mauricio (Jackline) Blanco of San Benito, Lee (Stephanie) Sanchez of San Benito, Priscilla Martinez (Matthew Gonzalez) of La Feria and Cynthia Huerta (Juan Andres Flores) of Mexico; grandchildren Allen Isaac Blanco, Kaitlyn Hope Blanco, Juan Blanco III, Nathaniel Miguel Martinez, Natalie Michelle Romero, Daniel Rey Romero, Emanuel Romero, Matthew Lee Sanchez, Madeline Sanchez, Castiel Alekzander Gonzales, Erica Marie Garcia, Marcial Robledo Jr., Julissa Flores, Clarissa Flores, Juan Andres Flores Jr, Jasmin Nicole Flores; and siblings Prisco Blanco of North Carolina, Canda Blanco of North Carolina, Reina Blanco of South Carolina, Jose Blanco of Mexico, and Domingo Landa of Illinois.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 30, 2016 from 12 noon to 9:00 p.m. with a service at 7:00 pm at the funeral home.
Funeral service will be held Saturday, December 31, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at Buck Ashcraft Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Restlawn Memorial Park in La Feria.
