Joshua Anthony Leach, born in San Antonio, Texas on April 26, 1987, was killed in a single car accident on July 28, 2017. Josh attended the University of Texas – Brownsville where he received a Certificate in Electrical Trades. He was a licensed electrician and a general handyman and could fix almost anything electrical. Josh and his family resided in Edinburg, Texas at the time of his passing.
Joshua is survived by his wife Raquel Herrera Leach and his three precious children, Megan, age 5, Bradley, age 3, and Leah, age 1. He is also survived by his father, Larry Dean Leach, and his mother, Aida Sanchez Leach of Harlingen, Texas, his brother, Jeff Allen Leach and his wife Brittini of San Antonio, Texas, and numerous aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, and cousins. Serving as pallbearers will be Lorenzo Sanchez, Jimmy Sanchez, Jay Cantu, Abel Sanchez, Adam Sanchez, and Deno Sanchez. Honorary pallbearers will be Amanda Flores Salinas and Norann Cantu.
A memorial service will be held at San Benito Funeral Home, 1400 W. Business U.S. 77 in San Benito, Texas on Friday, August 4, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. A graveside service and interment will follow at Sanchez Cemetery across from St. Ignatius Catholic Church on U.S. Hwy 281 in El Ranchito, Texas. Following the graveside service, Josh’s family and friends will gather for a reception at Sunshine Estates Reztloff Hall at 1957 W. Michigan Drive, Harlingen, Texas.
