Jose Raul Garcia

Jose Raul Garcia, of Harlingen, Texas, passed away at Missiouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston, Missouri after a brief illness.  He was born July 26, 1961 to Benito Garcia and Irma Gonzales Garcia in Port Lavaca, Texas. Jose was employed as a truck driver by Boarder to Boarder Trucking for 14 years and was an avid motorcycle enthusiast.

His son, Jose Raul Garcia, Jr., his sister Maria del Rosario Vargas, and brother Reynaldo Garcia preceded Jose in death. Left to treasure Jose’s memory are his wife Mary Garcia, children, Veronica Garcia, Melissa Garcia, Ashley Garcia, Jonathan Garcia, six grandchildren whom he adored, and his mother Irma Garcia.

The Garcia family will receive friends and family on Friday, August 21, 2020 from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at San Benito Funeral Home.  A recitation of the Holy Rosary will begin at 7:00 p.m.  Funeral services for Jose will conclude on Friday evening.
