Joseph E. Erickson, 101, passed away on Monday, November 16, 2009 at his residence.
Joseph was born August 17, 1908 in Springlake, Minnesota. He graduated from North Branch High School in 1926. After graduation he worked long enough to buy a small filling station in Wyoming, MN and then he sold it to go to Business College in Minneapolis, MN. Joseph was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church and enjoyed volunteering at Loaves and Fishes, Valley Baptist Medical and at his church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and his first wife, Marion Erickson.
Joseph is survived by his wife, Muriel M. Erickson; children, Allen (Jan) Erickson, Dale (Judy) Erickson, Roxanne Anderson, Bill (Val) Rossbach and Dave (Val) Rossbach; brother, Carl Erickson; twelve grandchildren; and numerous great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at Wesley United Methodist Church on Saturday, November 21, 2009 at 10 a.m. with Rev. Tim Brewer, officiating.
