Josefina Reyes Villarreal, 101, passed away on April 27, 2013at her residence.
Josefina was born on August 30, 1911 in San Benito, Texas to Graciano and Dolores Reyes Villarreal. She was a self-employed seamstress and was also an owner of a small grocery store. Josefina was of the catholic faith and enjoyed crocheting, arts and crafts, plants and sewing.
Josefina was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, six sisters, and one special nephew, Joe Rubio Jr., who she raised as a son.
She is survived by her sister, Consuelo V. Amaya and numerous nephews and nieces.
Memorial visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 1, 2013 from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with the Holy Rosary to be prayed at 7:00 p.m. at San Benito Funeral Home. All services will conclude on May 1, 2013 at 9:00 p.m.
The family would like to thank the staff of Odyssey Hospice especially Rafaela, Vanessa and Donna for all their care and attention.
