Josefina G. Lopez

Josefina G. Lopez, 89, peacefully passed from this life on Thursday, December 30, 2021.  Josefina was born in San Benito, Texas on March 19, 1932 to Manuel and Teresa Garcia.

She loved to travel the world and her favorite places were Hawaii and Las Vegas.  Josefina was employed for 25 years in retail sales industry.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Manuel and Teresa Garcia and her daughters-in-law, Mary Lopez and Connie Lopez.

Left to cherish Josefina’s memory are her husband, Roberto Lopez Sr.; her children, Robert Lopez Jr., Oscar Lopez, Armando Lopez, and Mario Lopez; and her grandchildren, Michael Lopez and Robert Joseph Lopez. Also surviving are her beloved pets, Brownie, Blackie and Skipper.

The Lopez family will receive relatives and friends on Monday, January 3, 2022 from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Buck Ashcraft San Benito Funeral Home.  A recitation of the Holy Rosary will begin at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, January 3, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Theresa Catholic Church. Following the Mass, Josefina will be laid to rest at Mont Meta Memorial Park.
