He was preceded in death by his mother Maria Rodriguez Torres.
He is survived by his children Jose Manuel Torres III, Santos Torres, Chelsea Dee Torres, Jose Manuel Torres, Jr., Christopher Torres; his grandchildren Jeremiah Guadalupe Torres, Carly Marie Torres, Jayelene Nicole Torres, Kaydee Lynn Torres, Carlos Adrian Torres, Casie Torres; his father Salvador Torres; his sisters San Juanita Yolanda Benavidez, Angelita Guerrero, Juanita Guerra, Olivia Torres, Santitas Torres and his brothers Emilio Torres, Jose Luis Torres and Salvador Torres Jr.
Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday, December 21, 2013 and Sunday, December 22, 2013. Visitation will resume from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. with a rosary at 7 p.m., Monday, December 23, 2013 at San Benito Funeral Home. Mass of Resurrection will be held on Tuesday, December 24, 2013 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church. Interment will follow at La Rusias Cemetery in Los Indios, TX.
