San Benito, TX: Jose Antonio Alcorta, Sr., 49, passed away Sunday, December 18, 2011 at his residence in San Benito, TX. He enjoyed bar-b-cueing, watching the Dallas Cowboys and playing with his grandson.
He is preceded in death by wife, San Juanita Alcorta.
Jose is survived by sons, Jose Antonio Alcorta, Jr. and Jose Angel Alcorta; his grandchildren, Jacob Anthony Alcorta and Judy Nicole Alcorta; his mother, Salud Munoz; his father, Manuel Alcorta, Sr.; and his brothers and sisters, Manuel Alcorta, Jr., Maria Isabel Esqueda, Sergio Alcorta, Ricky Rene Alcorta, Elsa Iris Alcorta-Leal, Daniel Alcorta, Carmelita Alcorta-Pena, and Miguel Alcorta.
Visitations will be held on Wednesday, December 21, 2011 from 10:00 A.M. to 9:00 P.M. with a prayer service to be held at 7:00 P.M. at San Benito Funeral Home.
A Chapel Service will be held on Thursday, December 22, 2011 at 10:00 A.M. at San Benito Funeral Home. Cremation will follow the service.
