John Kram, III

It is with great sadness that the family of John Kram III announces his passing after a battle with cancer on Wednesday, September 26, 2018 at the age of 50 in Harlingen, Texas.  John was born in Baltimore, Maryland to parents John and Victoria Kram.  At 28 years old, he relocated from Maryland to Harlingen, Texas where he later met the love of his life, Rachel Kram, and married on February 14, 2000. He was employed by Valley Baptist Medical Center for 20 years before retiring, creating many lasting friendships along the way.  Always smiling and full of life, you could find him representing the Steelers every game, taking care of his saltwater fish tank, boating, or jamming his music in the backyard.

John will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Rachel Kram, and his children, John Kram (Kirsten), Jacklyn Tesmer (Jake), Ron Pockrus, and Rebecca Pockrus and his grandchildren, Mason and Myles Tesmer.

A memorial gathering will be held on Saturday, September 29, 2018 from 5:00pm to 8:00pm at Buck Ashcraft Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, the family of John Kram III asks you to consider a charitable donation to the Cancer Research Institute to help find a cure for cancer.
