John G. Kark, 85, passed away on Sunday, December 7, 2008 at Harlingen Medical Center.
John was born January 10, 1923 in Canton, Ohio. John retired in 1976 as a Lieutenant from the Ohio State Patrol after 30 years of service.
John is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Alice; son, John M. Kark (Rexann) of Rancho Cucamonga, CA; daughter, Robin Kark of Martinez, CA; two grandsons, Jonathon Kark (Sherri) of Colorado Springs, CO and Daniel Kark of Dallas, TX; a sister, Elizabeth Klomfahs of Avon, OH; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Charles and Martha Lipford of Akron, OH; and sisters-in-law, Beverly Lipford of Harlingen, TX and Wanda Smith of Akron, OH.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Steve and Elizabeth Kark and brothers, Frank and Steve.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 13, 2008, 10 a.m., at Buck Ashcraft Funeral Home with Father Jerry Harris, officiating.
