John Norman Evans, 86, passed away Thursday, February 12, 2015.
John was born on May 6, 1928 in Beechport, TN. He graduated from Missionary Baptist Seminary and East Texas Baptist College. He has spent the last 45 years in Audiology.
John is survived by his loving wife, Burnie Evans of Laguna Vista: daughters Clara Wooster of Paris, TX, Carolyn Garner of Murphy, TX and Diane Garner of Jacksonville, TX: son, Mike Evans of Burleson, TX: 9 grandchildren, and 19 great grandchildren.
Visitation hours will be held Monday from 9:30 a.m. until service time at the Island Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be held Monday, February 16, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. at the Island Baptist Church, 107 W. Mesquite Street, South Padre Island, TX with Pastor Bill Waddell officiating.
