George (Jody) Robert Creasey, Jr., 56, passed away Tuesday, February 13, 2007 at his home in Harlingen, Texas.
Jody was born in McAllen, TX on May 1, 1950 to George and Nancy Creasey whom preceded him in death. He was a life long resident of Harlingen and graduated from Harlingen High School. Jody was the owner/operator of Creasey's Bowling Alley in Harlingen and worked in some capacity there for over 41 years.
Jody was a member of the Harlingen Elk's Lodge #1889 and served on the City of Harlingen Golf Board.
Survivors include his wife, Brenda of Harlingen; children, Robert A. Creasey (Priscilla), Michael J. Creasey and Jaclyn M. Creasey; sister-in-laws, Susan Bybel (Mike) of Bulverde, TXand Diane McCarver (Mark) of Gatesville, TX; mother and father-in-law, Marvin and Faye Wolff of San Antonio, TX; aunt and uncle, Geebie and Nick Belfiglio of St. Louis, MO; nieces and nephews, Holly, Erik, Victoria and Michael.
Visitation hours will be held from 12:00 PM to 9:00 PM with the family receiving frineds from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Thursday, February 15, 2007 at the funeral home.
Funeral services will be held at Buck Ashcraft Funeral Home, 1:00 PM, Friday, February 16, 2007 with entombment to follow at Mont Meta Memorial Park.
Jody will be remembered as someone who loved to bowl and golf, but especially as a wonderful adoring father, husband and a best friend to many.
