Jimmy L. Williams, 65, passed away Friday, March 9, 2007 at Sunshine Haven in Olmito, Texas.
Jimmy was born on August 3, 1941 in Harlingen, Texas to Marvin and Blanche Williams. He was a graduate of Harlingen High School and a longtime resident of Harlingen.
Jimmy was the owner/operator of J.L. Williams Construction Company in Harlingen for 26 years. After some health problems Jimmy sold the construction company and started his wood working business at his home in Harlingen. Jimmy was an avid hunter and fisherman and loved the outdoors.
He is survived by his wife, Sandy Williams of Harlingen; daughter, Tracie (Bracy) Wilson of Harlingen; son, Trevan (Carie) Williams of Harlingen; brother, Marion (Glenda) Williams of Harlingen; grandchildren, Ashley Williams of Harlingen, KayLee Wilson of Harlingen and Konnor Wilson of Harlingen; numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
A memorial service will be held at Buck Ashcraft Ashcraft Funeral Home, 4:00 PM, Monday, March 12, 2007 with the Rev. David Mann officiating.
