Jerry Lee Schussler peacefully passed from this life April 14, 2022 at 80 years of age. He was born June 6, 1941 to the late Jack G. and Marilyn Carter Schussler in Blue Island, Illinois.
He proudly served in the U.S. Air Force and attained the rank of Senior Airman (E-4). He went on to work for Hygeia Dairy for 23 years and Brush Country Claim Service.
Jerry was an avid golfer and served on the Board of Directors of Life Begins at 40. He was also a dedicated member of Al Amin Shrine.
He is preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, and numerous aunts and uncles.
Left to treasure Jerry’s memory is his loving wife, Shirley; son, Keith (Tammy) Schussler; daughter, Lisa (Michael) Warner; and grandchildren, Hunter and Amber Warner. He is also survived by his brother, Kenneth (Susan) Schussler; sisters, Judith (Alan) Dyer, Terri (George) Ericson, and Cathi Tezen; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorial visitation will take place Thursday, April 21, 2022 beginning at 3:00 p.m. in Chapel B of Buck Ashcraft San Benito Funeral Home. At 5 o’clock Thursday afternoon, family and friends will celebrate Jerry’s life with the sharing of fond memories and favorite stories.
