Jerry Dean Alexander

Jerry D. Alexander, 77, passed away June 10, 2015 at his residence.
Jerry was born March 19, 1938 in Borger, Texas to Oscar Alvin Alexander and Sibil Drucilla Parks.  He attended and graduated high school in Farmington, NM.  Jerry was married to Charlotte Penrod, Jane Penrod and Sherlyn H. Alexander.   He was the owner-operator of Rocky Mountain Home Inspectors and later was employed by the Arizona Public Service in Waterflow, NM as a Supervisor Planner and retired after 27 years of service. Jerry was a member of the Elks and the L.O.W.S.  Jerry spent most of his childhood and adult life in Farmington, NM where he raised his family and enjoyed fishing, camping and hunting with family and friends.
In 1998 he retired and became a Winter Texan at Fun & Sun RV Park in San Benito, TX.  In the fall of 2011 he became a fulltime resident. He enjoyed being a part of the many activities including the singles, groups, billiards, poker and dancing.
His heart was full of generosity and it was never held back and always extended to those in need.
He is survived by his daughters,  Charisse Teahan and husband Mark, Kathryn Strube and husband Darrel; brothers, Kenneth Alexander and wife Dottie, Mark Alexander and wife Barbara, David Alexander; sister, Beth Farnsworth and husband Merl; grandchildren, Timber (David) Everette and children Dakota, Brian, Trevor, Everay, Laura Brown and children Kamryn and Kyle, Chris (Kim) Canon and children Cody, Josh, Gavin, Kamryn, Christian, Christopher, Caprie Blevins and son Tyler, Derik McElroy, and Kandice Strube and children Landin and Verlane.
Jerry was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Charlotte Penrod Alexander; brother, Ray Alexander; and grandson, Christopher Canon.
A celebration of Jerry’s life will be held Saturday, June 20, 2015, at 10 a.m. at the Fun & Sun RV Park in Billiards Room with his daughters, Kathryn Strube and Charisse Teahan, a non-denominational minister officiating.
In lieu of flowers memorial donation can be made to the Sunny Glen Children’s Home, P.O. Box 1373, San Benito, TX 78586.
We would like to thank those who came and gave their time, support and love to assist our dad when he became ill.  You will forever be a part of our family and memories.
