Death leaves a heartache no one can heal,
Love leaves a memory no one can steal.
Your father, mother, sister, brother along with your daughters and sons
Love you and will miss you greatly.
Javier N. Abrego, 50 years young, was born August 12, 1973. He passed away in Irving, Texas, at his home on December 13, 2023.
After graduating from Los Fresnos High School where he was active in drama, band and track, Javier became a Marine. “Once a Marine always a Marine”, he often said. He served in active duty for four years, reaching the rank of Lance Corporal and was in the reserve for four years. He was an aircraft mechanic and earned a National Defense Service Medal and was awarded the Sea Service deployment, good conduct and rifle marksmanship.
Javier later worked in security at Sea World in San Antonio and then at Amazon Air in the Dallas Fort Worth area.
Javier had the heart of an adventurer. He was studying to be a pilot. He loved scuba diving, hiking and cycling and was an avid gunman. He also had a sense of humor, often exchanging jokes and Star Wars Trivia with friends and co-workers.
He is survived by his parents, Deborah Escobedo Abrego and Manuel (Irma) Abrego; his sister, Yvette Abrego; his brother, Romeo Abrego; his children, Anthony Joseph Mueller, Brooke Renee Barba (Mikel), Trinity Nicole Abrego, and Gage Noe Abrego; his granddaughter, Clare Amor Barba; his companion, Priscilla Beaulieu; and his ex-wife, Leonie Mueller Abrego; nieces and nephews, Joelly I.
