“Jim” Cockrill born March 27, 1959 in Harlingen, Texas to Gene and Pat Cockrill died January 11, 2013 at Cedar Hills Nursing Home in Campwood, TX after a lengthy illness.
Jim is survived by his parents; his two brothers, Gene, Jr. of Harlingen and Gary (Selena) of Fredericksburg, TX; a daughter, Leslie Ann Simpson; two granddaughters of Ohio; and various nieces and nephews.
Jim was a seven year veteran of the U.S. Navy and spent his working life as a helicopter mechanic throughout the U.S.
There will be private burial services at a later date.
