James T. Bearden

James Thomas Bearden (Tom), 72, passed away on September 9, 2024. Tom was born in Harlingen, Texas on May 1, 1952. Tom was loved by everyone who knew him. Above all else, he loved his family. 

Tom is preceded in death by his grandparents, Elmer and Opal Bearden and James Lemuel and Mary Ivy Ply, and parents Estel & Wilma Bearden

He is survived by his sisters, Barbara (Mike) Howland, Linda (Phil) Jones, and Brenda Bearden, and his brothers, Lonnie (Janice) Bearden, Troy (Beckie Aldridge) Bearden, Dennis (Cindy) Bearden and David (Connie) Bearden. He is also survived by his son Nick (Crystal) Cortez and 2 grandsons, Vincent and Ezekiel and numerous nieces and nephews.

Tom was employed by J&N Auto Air Conditioning for most of his adult life. He enjoyed reading, hunting, fishing and spending time outdoors. 

A memorial gathering will take place on Friday, September 13, 2024 from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Buck Ashcraft San Benito Funeral Home.
