Jaime M. Salazar, 78, of San Benito, Texas passed away on Tuesday, February 14, 2017.
Jaime was a hardworking man who enjoyed his work with Central Freight Lines where he had worked for over 30 years, but the joys of his life were his children, grandchildren and greatgrandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his son, Jaime Salazar, Jr., his brother Lorenzo Salazar; his mother Juanita Mendoza and father, Lorenzo Salazar; Grandfather Jose Mendoza and Grandmother Amelia Mendoza.
Left to cherish Jaime’s memory is his loving wife of 58 years, Rosalinda C. Salazar; his children Jesus Salazar, Diana (Jose Manuel) De Leon and Dina Hernandez. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Noah (Jennifer) De Leon, Jose Manuel (Missy) De Leon, Jr., Adriana Kristine Hernandez, and his great grandchildren Malaki De Leon, Euriah De Leon, and Micah De Leon.
Visitation will be held from 1:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 16, 2017 with a Rosary to be held at 7:00 p.m. at San Benito Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, February 17, 2017 at St. Benedict Catholic Church. Interment will then follow at Mont Meta Memorial Park in San Benito.
