San Benito, TX: Isabel E. Salazar, 89, passed away on Friday, December 16, 2011 at Harlingen Medical Center.
She enjoyed working with her plants and spending time with her grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Isaac Salazar; her parents, Ismael and Petra P. Estrada; her brother, Ismael Estrada; and her sister, Maria Esquivel.
Isabel is survived by her children, Noe (Irma) Salazar, Federico (Reyna) Salazar, Roberto (Juana) Salazar, Graciela Salazar (Arnoldo Ramirez), Hilda (Angel) Solorzano, and Jose Luis (Maria) Salazar; along with 18 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 19, 2011 from 10:00 A.M. to 9:00 P.M. with a Holy Rosary to be prayed at 7:00 P.M. at San Benito Funeral Home.
The funeral precession will depart San Benito Funeral Home on Tuesday, December 20, 2011 at 9:30 A.M. for a 10:00 A.M. Funeral Mass at St. Benedict Catholic Church. Interment will follow to San Benito City Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Federico Salazar, Jr., Crisantos Salazar, Susie Salazar, Noe Salazar, Ricardo Salazar, and Isaac Salazar; honorary pallbearer will be Ryan Salazar.
