Los Fresnos, TX: Isabel Ramirez, 75, of Los Fresnos, TX passed away Tuesday, August 9, 2011 at Harlingen Medical Center.
She is preceded in death by her daughter, Angelina Mata; her parents, Jose and Carolina Infante; and her siblings, Juan Infante, Pedro Infante, and Juana Barajas.
Isabel is survived by her loving husband, Jose Angel Ramirez; her children, Ricardo (Ana) Ramirez, Raquel Ramirez, Rosario (Steve) Cook, Rebecca (Juan) Cerda, Rene (Gabriela) Ramirez, Rodolfo (Eva) Ramirez, Rosa Belia (Jesus) Infante, Rosa Maria (Rufino) Munoz, Jose A.(Rosie) Ramirez, Imelda Ramirez, Lourdes (Felipe) Munoz, and Oralia (Florentino) Rios; along with 28 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren; and her siblings, Pablo Infante, Javier Infante, Jose Infante, Jr., Martin Infante, Jose Barajas, Virginia Infante, Dominga Infante, Jesus Infante, and Guadalupe Alvarado; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 11, 2011 from 10:00 A.M. to 9:00 P.M. with a Holy Rosary recited at 7:00 P.M. at San Benito Funeral Home.
The funeral precession will depart San Benito Funeral Home on Friday, August 12, 2011 at 1:30 P.M. for a 2:00 P.M. Catholic Funeral Service at St. Cecilia Catholic Church in Los Fresnos. Interment will follow to Las Yescas Cemetery in Rio Hondo.
Pallbearers will be Felipe Munoz, Jr., Rodolfo Ramirez, Jr., Rene Ramirez, Jr., Rufino Munoz, Jr., Ricardo Ramirez, Jr., Jacob Mata, Miguel Angel Rodriguez, and Jesse Jay Infante; honorary pallbearers will be Mark Anthony Munoz, Andrew Joseph Infante, and Joe Eric Ramirez.
