Imogene Dealey, 80 passed away on Monday, September 21. 2015 at Harlingen Medical Center in Harlingen, Texas.
Imogene was born on October 28, 1934 in Hickman, Kentucky to James C. Newman and Nevada Summers Newman. She served in the USAF where she was an Airman 1st Class as a Radar Tech. She later worked as a para professional for Safeway in El Paso, Texas for many years and was a member of the Elks Lodge.
She is survived by her husband whom she married on January 19, 1957, Joseph G. Dealey, Jr. of Rio Hondo, Texas; daughter, Debbie Lynn Fivash and son-in-law, James W. Fivash, III; granddaughter, Jamee Lynn Gonzalez and husband, Raul Gonzalez; great grandchildren, Alana Maria and Trent Lee Gonzalez all of Houston, Texas; grandson, Austin Lee Fivash of College Station, Texas and other family and friends.
Imogene was preceded in death by her parents, 2 borthers, James and Fred Soloman; sister, Ann Ritchie; son, Joseph “Butch” G. Dealey, III; and daughter, Tammy Lynn Dealey.
Visitation hours will be held from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, Friday, September 25, 2015 at the Merten-Butler Mortuary in Blue Hill, Nebraska.
Graveside services only will be held at the Blue Hill Cemetery in Blue Hill, Nebraska, 11:00 AM, Saturday, September 26, 2015 with Pastor Dan Alders officiating.
