Hortencia S. Garza entered into eternal rest on March 10, 2010 surrounded by all her loving children. She has entered into eternal rest with her loved ones awaiting her presence.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Jose and Solia Sosa; sister, Oralia Gonzalez; brothers, Lupe Sosa and Hilberto Sosa; and son, Israel Garza.
Hortencia is survived by her husband, Anselmo Garza; children, Eddie (Emma) Garza of San Benito, Reynaldo (Maria) Garza of Harlingen, Sylvia (Ruben) Cavazos of La Feria, Leticia (Manuel) Castaneda of Kingsville, Yolanda (José Luis) Campos of San Benito, Nelda (Fred) Rendon of Harlingen, Olga Garza of Harlingen, Enrique (Nora)Garza of Lyford, and Jose Anselmo (Velma) Garza of La Feria; nineteen grandchildren; and six great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 12, 2010 from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a Prayer service at 7 p.m. at San Benito Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 13, 2010, 12 noon, at Iglesia Presbiteriana Gestemani, 140 Diaz St., San Benito, Texas. Burial will follow at Mont Meta Memorial Park.
