She is preceded in death by her husband, Jesus Rodriguez; her sons, Regino Rodriguez, Eugenio Rodriguez and Lauro Rodriguez; and her daughters, Estela Santos and Micaela Rodriguez.
Hermelinda is survived by her 6 daughters, Connie Salinas (Ernesto) of Garland, TX; Cruz Rodriguez (Ramon) of Irving, TX; Teresa Resendez (Raul) of San Benito, TX; Esther Rodriguez of Garland, TX; Alicia Rodriguez (Rick) of Garland, TX; and Irene Rodriguez of Sanger, TX; her 4 sons, Paul Rodrigues of Austin, TX, Ramon Rodriguez (Esmeralda) of Pearland, TX; Jaime Rodriguez (Nelda) of Garland, TX; and Roman Rodriguez of Garland, TX; 34 grandchildren; 34 great grandchildren; and a great-great grandchild.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 22, 2011 from 3:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. with a Holy Rosary recited at 7:00 P.M. at San Benito Funeral Home.
Chapel Service was held on Saturday, April 23, 2011 at 10:00 A.M. at San Benito Funeral Home. Interment followed to San Benito City Cemetery.
