August 21, 1954 — April 7, 2012

San Benito, TX – Herlinda G. Rojas, 57, of San Benito, TX passed away Saturday, April 7, 2012 at Doctors Hospital at Renaissance in Edinburg.

Herlinda was a devoted and active member of the Baptist Temple in San Benito. She graduated Cum Laude from The University of Texas–Pan American with a Bachelor degree in Education.

She is preceded in death by her father, Rosendo Garcia, Sr.; and her mother-in-law, Antonia Rojas.

Herlinda is survived by her husband, Pablo Rojas; her children, Paul (Melissa) Rojas, Jr. and David Rojas; her 2 ½ year old grandson, Paul Michael Rojas; her mother, Elena P. Garcia; and her brothers and sisters, Rosendo (Emma) Garcia, Diana (Juan) Alvarado, Sara (Alberto) Morales, Arcelia G. (Antonio) Aguilar, Maria Elena Ramirez (Jorge Montez), Israel (Anna) Garcia, Dalia (Rey) Cantu, Jorge (Lillian) Garcia, Jaime (Patty) Garcia, and Elizabeth (Johnny) Tamez.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 10, 2012 from 1:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M with a Prayer Service to be held at 7:00 P.M. at San Benito Funeral Home.

A Chapel Service will be held on Wednesday, April 11, 2012 at 10:00 A.M. at San Benito Funeral Home with Pastor Tom Johnson and Pastor Harry Smith officiating.  Interment will follow at Mont Meta Memorial Park.

Pallbearers will be Antonio Aguilar, Israel Garcia, Jorge Garcia, Jaime Garcia, Paul Rojas, Jr., and David Rojas; honorary pallbearer will be Rosendo Garcia, Jr.
