Henrietta Mitchell Tumlinson, 90, passed away on May 6th, 2008 at First Colony Rehabilitation in Missouri City, TX.
Henrietta was born to Henry and Cora Mitchell December 12, 1917 in Keota, OK. She was married to Jesse A. Tumlinson April 7, 1937 in Sinton, TX. Henrietta was a long time resident of the Rio Grande Valley where she and Jesse celebrated their 50th Anniversary in 1987 and moved to Houston, TX in 2000.
Henrietta is preceded in death by her husband Jesse and her daughter Mary Arlene Huffman.
She is survived by her sons, James Edward Tumlinson of Houston (Maryann) and Billy Tumlinson of Austin (Pat); grandchildren, Betty Tumlinson of Houston, James Edward Tumlinson, Jr (Kimberly) of The Woodlands, TX, Brenda Harkness (Bill) of Midland, TX, Tammy Huffman of Magnolia Springs, AL; Christy Huffman of San Antonio, TX, Denny Dingler (Bonnie) of Inverness, FL, Debbie Dingler of Key West, FL; 12 great grandchildren and twin great-great granddaughters.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 17, 2008 from 9 am to 10 a.m. at Buck Ashcraft Funeral Home with a graveside service at Mont Meta Memorial Park in San Benito at 11:00am.
