He is preceded in death by his parents Leonel and Ofelia Martinez.
He is survived by his wife Lydia Martinez; his children Domenica Schultz, Hector Martinez Jr., Isaias Martinez all of San Benito, TX; his siblings Leonel Martinez, Cesar Martinez, Yolanda Rodriguez, Cynthia Garcia, Nora Martinez, Perla Martinez, Linda Corona; his grandchildren Hailey A. Martinez, Hector Martinez III, Isaiah Martinez Jr. and Sofia Martinez.
Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., with a prayer service at 7 p.m., Sunday, September 7, 2014 at San Benito Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held at 12 p.m. Monday, September 8, 2014 at San Benito Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow to Mont Meta Memorial Park.
