Hazel B. Lozano, 97, passed away November 27, 2013 at her residence.
She was born June 10, 1916 in Lanes Chapel, Texas to Benjamin A. Brown and Ida Pearl Presley. She was a housewife and of the Methodist faith.
Hazel is survived by her sons, David Lozano of Harlingen, Guillermo “Billy” (Imelda Muniz) Lozano of Harlingen; grandchildren, Rebecca Lozano, David M. Lozano Jr., Daniel Lozano, Michael Lozano, Patricia (David) Swander, Heather (Carson) Williams, Larry, Lynette Palomo (Mike), Larisa (Mario)Vento, Lorne (Jane) Lozano; nineteen great grandchildren; eight great great grandchildren; and daughters-in-law Mary Louise Muniz Lozano and Janice Rae Gandy.
She was preceded in death her parents; husband Guillermo “Willie” Mora Lozano; sisters, Opal (Curtis) Watson, Mattie Lee (Bill) Reeves, Leona (Roy) Stokes, Enerstine (Gil) Owens; brother, Cecil “Bud” (Adele) Brown; daughter-in-law, Margie Lozano grandson, Dennis Matthew (38); and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 29, 2013 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Buck Ashcraft Funeral Home.
Graveside service will be held Saturday, November 30, 2013, 10 a.m., in the Mausoleum Chapel at Mont Meta Memorial Park in San Benito with Jacob “Jake” Vincent officiating.
The family would like to thank Hazel’s caregiver who became like her adopted daughter, Maria Ochoa for her loving care.
