San Benito, TX: Guadalupe Galvan, 93, of San Benito, TX passed away on May 10, 2012 in San Benito.
Mrs. Galvan was a faithful and devoted parishioner at St. Joseph Catholic Church. She enjoyed spending time with her family especially her grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Conrado Galvan, Sr. and her grandson, Nicky Carrizales.
Guadalupe is survived by her children, Alicia G. Ruth (Charles+), Conrado (Yolanda) Galvan, Jr., Uvence (Noemi) Galvan, Concha Galvan, Estella (Oscar) Guajardo, Robert (Minerva) Galvan, Eduardo (Norma) Galvan, Armando (Corina) Galvan, Mario (Mary Lou) Galvan, Yolanda (Ramiro) Gonzalez, David (Terry) Galvan, Diana (Arnoldo) Garza, Esmeralda Galvan (Daniel) Chapa, and Noe (Emma) Galvan; 31 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 12, 2012 and Sunday, May 13, 2012 from 1:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. with a Holy Rosary to be prayed at 7:00 P.M. both evenings at San Benito Funeral Home.
The funeral procession will depart San Benito Funeral Home on Monday, May 14, 2012 at 9:30 A.M. for a 10:00 A.M. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Joseph Catholic Church in San Benito with Father Isaac Emeka Erondu officiating. Interment will follow to Mont Meta Memorial Park.
The family of Mrs. Galvan would like to send a Special Thanks to Amenity Hospice and staff along with her caregivers, Rosario (Chayo) Sanchez, Elvira Nunez and Betty Dorado.
