Guadalupe J. De La Fuente, was called to be with our lord and savior on Tuesday, the 24th of May 2016. She was nitey-seven years old. Born on the 19th of March 1919 in Gonzales, Texas to her parents Jose and Maria De La Fuente
She is preceded in death by her parents, son Omar Gonzales, siblings Jose De La Fuente Jr., Santiago De La Fuente, Ofelia Martinez, Maria Garcia, and Alfonso De La Fuente.
Survivors include her loving grandchildren Criselda (Natividad) Ontiveros, Omar (Dena) Gonzales, Erica (Richard) Guerra, and Celina (Omar) Gonzales. Her siblings Eva (Raul) Reyna, Francis (+Felipe) Gonzales, Antonio (Dora) De La Fuente, Lorenzo (Manuela) De La Fuente, and numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Visiting hours are on Thursday, the 26th of May 2016, beginning at 3:00 pm in the afternoon and concluding at 9:00 pm at night, with a holy rosary to begin at 7:00 pm Thursday evening within the San Benito Funeral Home Chapel, 1400 West Highway 77, San Benito, Texas 78586.
A Celebration of Life Mass will be held on Friday, the 27th of May 2016, at 10:00 a.m. in the morning at St. Theresa Catholic Church. Interment will then follow at Mont Meta Memorial Park in San Benito, TX.
