Judge Guadalupe Ayala

September 13, 1961 — February 25, 2017

The Honorable Judge Guadalupe Ayala, 55 of San Benito, TX went to be with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Saturday, February 25, 2017 surrounded by his loving family.

Judge Ayala was born and raised in San Benito, Texas, graduated from San Benito High School, a Greyhound fan, United States Marine Veteran, Retired San Benito Police Officer, currently Cameron County Justice of the Peace Place 3-1 and honored to be Associate Pastor at Faith Pleases God Church in Harlingen, TX.

Judge Ayala was happily married to his high school sweetheart of 33 years, Elisa Ruiz Ayala. A faithful man and a great father, he was well known for his servant’s heart, he touched many lives.

Judge Ayala is survived by his wife Elisa Ruiz Ayala, his children, Vanessa Ayala, Cecilia (Will) Espinoza, Guadalupe Ayala Jr., his son/grandson David Moody, grand-daughters, Ariana Joy, Alina Grace and Kaylie Espinoza.  Sisters, Micaela Alvarez, Natividad Pena, Senaida Rodriguez, Petra Bejaran; Brothers, Victor Ayala, Joe Ayala and Mike Ayala; and numerous nephews and nieces.

He was preceded in death by his parents Francisco Ayala and Tomasa Ayala, brothers Erasmo Ayala, Frank Ayala and David Ayala.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 28th from 12:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a prayer service at 7:00 p.m. at the San Benito Funeral Home located at 1400 W. U.S. Highway 77, San Benito. Pall Bearers will be the Cameron County Constables and San Benito Police Department.

A Christian service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, February 29th at Faith Pleases God Church located at 4501 W. Exp. 83, Harlingen, TX.  Burial procession will follow to the San Benito Memorial Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Faith Pleases God Helping Hands Ministry (Food Bank) or Women of Faith & Power Widows Ministry, 4501 W. Exp. 83, Harlingen, TX 78550 thru www.faithpleasesgod.com  (956) 412-5600.
