SAN BENITO, TX. – Grant Lovett Landrum, 48, of San Benito, Texas, died Friday, February 27, 2015.

He was born on July 21, 1966 in San Benito, Texas to his parents, James and Lois Lovett Landrum. Grant owned and operated an environmental construction company for many years in the Rio Grande Valley. Grant dedicated much of his free time to family and friends. Fishing, hunting, and spending time at the beach were ways he enjoyed his love of nature and the outdoors.

His father, James Lambert Landrum and nephew, Sean Lambert Kornegay, preceded him in death.

Survivors include his loving wife of twenty-one years and high school sweetheart Amanda Montemayor Landrum; children, Julia Lovett Landrum and Grant Lambert Landrum; mother, Lois Landrum; and siblings Marsha Uptegraph (Gene), Sharon Johnson (John), Jimmy Landrum (Lois), and Jana Landrum. Grant is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

Visitation will be held between the hours of 1:00 P.M. and 9:00 P.M. on Tuesday, March 3, 2015, with a prayer service to begin at 7:00 P.M. within the San Benito Funeral Home Chapel.

Funeral services will commence on Wednesday, March 4, 2015 at 11:00 A.M. in the First Presbyterian Church, located at 566 N Reagan Street, San Benito, Texas 78586, with Minister Ed Robertson officiating. Interment will then follow at Mont Meta Memorial Park in San Benito.

Pallbearers will be Grant Lambert Landrum, Bryan Cook, Danny De Los Santos, Casey McNutt, Hondo Garcia, and Charlie Hervey.
