LOS FRESNOS, TX. – Gomecinda Gonzalez, born on the 13th of January 1925 in Los Fresnos, Texas, died on Friday, the 12th of February 2016 at McAllen Nursing Center. She was ninety-one years old.
Her parents, Domingo and Francisca Gonzalez; and brothers Ascension Gonzalez, Simon Gonzalez, and Isabel Gonzalez, preceded her in death.
Survivors include her sister, Hilaria Torres of Los Fresnos, Texas.
Visiting hours are on Sunday, the 14th of February 2016, beginning at three o’clock in the afternoon and concluding at nine o’clock at night, with a recitation of the holy rosary to begin at seven o’clock Sunday evening within the San Benito Funeral Home Chapel B, 1400 West Highway 77, San Benito, Texas 78586.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, the 15th of February 2016, at two thirty in the afternoon, in St. Cecilia Catholic Church, 606 W Ocean Boulevard, Los Fresnos, Texas 78566.
Committal services will then follow immediately thereafter at the Los Cuates Cemetery in Los Fresnos.
