Glen Ambos born January 31, 1921 died October 27, 2007 at Harlingen, Texas.
He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Velda; daughters, Marilynn Ambos of Harlingen; Suzanne A. Artale of Indianapolis, IN; sister, Mary Dutcher of Des Moines, IA; grandson, Alan A. Artale; and four great grandsons, Christopher, Alexander, Zachary and Nicholas.
He was raised in Iowa and married his wife, Velda in 1942. Later that same year he entered the U.S. Army Air Corps and served on active duty until 1963.
The family moved to Harlingen in 1963. He entered the life insurance business in 1966, maintaining an office until 1990.
The last few years his primary interest was in supporting the spread of the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ. “But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and His righteousness…Matthew 6:33.
