Gerardo (Gerry) Bermea Flores

Gerardo (Gerry) Bermea Flores went to be with the Lord on Friday, June 10, 2016, in Dallas, Texas. Gerry was born in Harlingen, Texas on August 17, 1968 to Manuel G.† and Martha Flores. He was a graduate of the Harlingen High School Class of 1986. After high school, Gerry attended St. Mary's University graduating as Summa Cum Laude in 1990 with a Bachelor's Degree in Finance then he attended the University of Rochester School of Business graduating in 1992 with a Master's Degree in Finance. After college he went to work for Proctor and Gamble before going to work at PepsiCo. Gerry was a loving son, brother, uncle, godfather and friend. He was a devout Catholic and enjoyed singing in the choir.
Gerry is preceded in death by his father, Manuel G. Flores, grandmother Guadalupe G. Bermea, aunts Hortencia Bermea, Esperanza Bermea, Margarita B. Rocha and uncle Ramiro Bermea. He is survived by his mother, Martha B. Flores of Harlingen, TX, sister Sue Sanchez (Joe) of Sugarland TX, brothers Tony B. Flores (Claudia) of Cypress, TX, Orlando B. Flores (Sofia) and Jorge H. Flores, aunt Maria B. Quiroz all of Harlingen, TX. He is also survived by several cousins, nieces and nephews.
He will greatly missed by all of us.
A rosary will be held at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, 412 S. C St., Harlingen, Texas 78550 on Friday, June 17, 2016 at 9:30 am, followed by a 10:00 am Mass. Burial will be held at a later date.
Gerry Flores Memorial will be held on June 25, 2016 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 3811 Oak Lawn Ave, Dallas, TX 75219 at 10:30 am, followed by a reception at Vickery Park, 2810 N. Henderson Ave, Dallas, TX 75206.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to the Holy Trinity Center in his memory.
