Geraldine R. Hees

June 15, 1934 — June 27, 2022

Geraldine Rose “Geri” Hees, 88, peacefully passed into the arms of her Savior and Lord  on June 27, 2022. She was born June 15, 1934 to the late Henry and Theresa Rautert in San Diego, California.

She was filled with the Holy Spirit and loved her Lord with her whole heart. She found delight in being God’s servant and spreading His love with her family, friends and strangers. Geri was a blessing to everyone she encountered. She is now in her Lord’s presence singing and rejoicing with the angels.

Geri is preceded in death by her husband, Reuben H. Hees.

Left to treasure Geri’s memory are her children, Brenda Stokes (Clay), Bryan Hees, and Connie Fitzgerald (Ken); her grandchildren, Tommy Stokes, Jennifer Stokes-Sosa, Heather Thomas, and Katelyn Smith; six great-grandchildren; her close friends, JoAnn Johnson, Chuck Mayo, (cousin) Hank Landis; and her church family of the Cowboy Church of the Valley.

Geri’s family wishes to thank the caring staff of Amedisys Hospice. Special thanks to nurses Ally and Art.

A celebration of Geri’s life and of God’s faithfulness will take place Saturday, July 2, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. at Cowboy Church of the Valley, 11235 Swift Lane, Santa Rosa, Texas.
