Geraldine Johnson

Geraldine "Bunny" Ann Kowal Johnson 82 was surrounded by her children when she joined her loving parents in Paradise on September 27, 2019.

Bunny was born in Chicago,IL on August 20, 1937.  She moved to  Harlingen from Chicago when she was 11.  Bunny was a devoted mother and a loving daughter.  She loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Gardening was one of her favorite past times and she had an artistic knack as well.  Bunny was a loving grandmother, always fair, full of reason, old sayings and family stories.

Bunny is preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Genevieve Soloske, her father, John Kowal and her best fur baby, Scottie.

Survived by her 4 children, Jennifer Crawford (Tom) of Denver, Francine Kohl (Henry) of Harlingen, Johnny Lay of San Antonio and Elizabeth "Feege" Briones (George) of San Benito. Grandchildren, Dawn Pickett, Steven Krusinsky, Adam Gutierrez, Brooke Saenz, James Briones, Jonathon Lay, Shelsea Jardot, Joseph Briones, Jillian Pedroza, Jarrod Kohl, Jordan Briones.  Great Grandchildren, Christopher, Brady, Lincoln, Ethan, Trystan, Kinley, Isabella, Camila, Reece, Augustus, Jonah and Alina.
