Genaeve “Gennie” Robbie Warner, 91, joined her heavenly family on Dec. 4, 2015. She passed away peacefully at home.
Gennie was born in Lampasas, TX on April 14, 1924 to Fine and Irma Walker. The family moved to the Valley in 1938, where Gennie lived until her passing. It was in Harlingen that she met Noble Warner, they were married 49 years. Gennie will be remembered as a loving Mother, talented hairdresser and square dance companion to Noble.
Mother is survived by her children, Gary and Heidi Warner and Darlene Lawler; sister-in-law Rete Sadler; grandchildren, Michael, Stephanie, Gip, Jacob, Lance, Ronniece and Shelly; great-grandchildren; great-great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband Noble Warner; son Ronnie; parents, two sisters and one brother.
Visitation hours will be from 5 pm to 7 pm on Friday, Dec. 11, 2015 at the funeral home.
A graveside service will be held at 2 pm on Saturday, Dec. 12, 2015 at Mont Meta Memorial Park in San Benito with Danny Anderson officiating.
