Gary Jack Robertson, age 69, passed away on Saturday, July 26, 2014.
Gary was born in Dallas, TX to Grace Morris Robertson and Jack W. Robertson on December 29, 1944. He attended Harlingen High School, Class of 1963 and then Mississippi College in Clinton, MS. He served in the US Marine Corps and was active with the Rotary Club of Harlingen. One of his greatest joys was playing his guitar and singing with friends.
Gary was an insurance agent in Dallas, Houston and for the last 20 years with the Smith-Reagan Agency in Harlingen.
Gary is preceded in death by his mother, father and sister, Linda Eloi and is survived by his brother, Randy Robertson and his family along with his sister, Denise Sharp and her family as well as many long-time friends in "the Valley".
Memorial services will be held at 2 pm on Thursday, July 31, 2014 at Allen Heights Baptist Church in Allen, TX and at 4 pm on Thursday, July 31, 2014 at Buck Ashcraft Funeral Home in Harlingen with Joe Perez officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Loaves & Fishes, 514 South E St., Harlingen, TX 78550.
