Fred A. Kalber, 97, passed away October 6, 2007 in Harlingen, Texas. Fred was born October 31, 1909 in Independence, Kansas to Fred G. & Bertha Kalber. He attended high school in Independence, Kansas and enjoyed fishing and visiting with his grandchildren.
Fred is survived by his daughter, Donna L. (Pete) Petrie; grandson, Monty W. (Ann) Moses; granddaughters, Meredith A. Moses; 6 grandchildren; and 2 great grandchildren.
Memorial services will be held on Saturday, October 20, 2007, 1 p.m., at Buck Ashcraft Funeral Home.
