Fred Donovan Bentsen

Fred Donovan “Don” Bentsen, 76, passed away Friday, February 20, 2015 in Houston, TX. He was born December 10, 1938 in San Benito to Fred Miller Bentsen and Mary Alice Butler Bentsen. He grew up in San Benito, lived in Harlingen most of his adult life and worked at Lewis Electric Motors from the age of 18 until retirement.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 43 years, Judy Davis Bentsen, and his daughter, Mary Christine Bentsen. He is survived by his brother, Willard Bentsen of Cooper City, FL, his son and daughter-in-law, Fred A. and Shani Bentsen of Houston, and granddaughters, Megan Hebert and Emma and Calla Bentsen.

A memorial service will be held Friday, February 27th at 1 pm at Buck Ashcraft Funeral Home in Harlingen.
