Frank Allan Williams

June 18, 1959 — July 18, 2017

Frank Allan Williams of Harlingen, 58 years old, passed away on Monday, July 17, 2017 of natural causes in North Texas.

Born in San Antonio, TX to parents Lester and Jan Williams in June of 1959, he spent most of his childhood in San Angelo and San Benito, Texas with his younger siblings Cheryl and Daniel.  In 1978, Frank married his high school sweetheart, Sharen Williams and began their life together including raising their three children, Sarah, James and Rachel in South Texas.  Frank had a passion for his family, for the outdoors and for his faith in God.  Over the course of his life, Frank became a well-known fixture in the community due to his gregarious and caring nature and his business dealings in real estate in the area for many years.  For the past decade, Frank has traveled across the State of Texas and beyond serving small businesses with his marketing and art production company. Frank was a loyal member of Christian Fellowship Church of Harlingen for the past 25 years.  Those close to him say they had never seen Frank happier than in the past few years with the arrival of his grandchildren fulfilling his longtime dream of becoming a grandfather.

Frank is survived by his wife, Sharen Williams, his three children, Sarah Williams-Salazar (Adrian), James Williams (Mari) and Rachel Jud (Kyle), his four grandchildren Andrew and Leah Salazar, Angelina Williams and Evangeline Jud, his parents Lester and Jan Williams, his sisters Cheryl Williams and Melissa Sikes, and his two beloved dogs, Birdie and Jet.

Frank is preceded in death by his brother Daniel Williams.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, July 24th at Christian Fellowship Church in Harlingen and will be officiated by Pastor Barry Jackson. The service will be followed by a family attended private burial at Mont Meta.

Visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. on Sunday, July 23rd at Buck Ashcraft Funeral home in Harlingen.

“Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful.”
